It could be said that this segment of Big Creek is a site for learner whitewater boating. A close by grade II whitewater sweep can be found on Bayou Des Arc River; the Romance to Lake Barnett section is 7 miles long. Raft paddlers on this sweep of Bayou Des Arc River don’t need lots of know-how in paddling. Always check current conditions previous to going paddling as paddling is a hazardous pastime. | |
