| for novice whitewater boaters. There's a perfect grade I-II stretch of whitewater nearby on Crooked Creek, the 52-mile-in-length Harman to Highway 101 portion. This portion of Crooked Creek is well suited for raft paddlers who haven't been raft paddling for so long. Unsurprisingly, raft paddling is amusing but treacherous; check circumstances previous to going. High temperatures at Rainbow Bridge Lodge through the long summer days are in the 90's, and through the night it cools down to the 60's. All through the winter highs are generally in the 40's; after the sun is down during the wintertime temperatures at Rainbow Bridge Lodge sink into the 20's.
