place to stretch your legs a bit, and enjoy a round of golf at Vail Golf Club. The Colorado sunup is what conveys to you that you're all set to have one more great day in Vail. When you’re trying to locate joy, Vail is the only place to spend time. On close by Gore Creek you
locate a type III-IV section of whitewater; the East Vail Exit (I-70) to Eagle River sector is 9.2 miles long. This section of Gore Creek is not a location for beginners to come whitewater rafting or kayaking single-handedly. You are projected to get drenched whitewater kayaking
or rafting this run of Cross Creek, so you should be set for that. Eagle River has a nearby whitewater sweep; the Redcliff to Tigiwan Rd portion is a good 4-mile-from-start-to-finish category IV-V(V+) sweep of whitewater. If by chance you don’t would like to get dripping wet, this
sweep of Eagle River is most likely not for you. The 1/4 mile above confluence with Eagle River section is a glorious 0.25-mile-from-beginning-to-end class V stretch of whitewater on Homestake Creek. This section of Homestake Creek is suggested for experienced raft paddlers exclusively.
The Riverbend bus stop to Edwards segment has a mileage of 7 miles; you come upon this stretch of whitewater on Eagle River. It's a class III stretch. You might get drenched raft paddling this stretch of Eagle River, so you should be set for that. Of course, raft paddling is fun
but risky; check current conditions before heading out. Evergreen Lodge is positioned in beautiful Vail, Colorado, where the Park Range always presents something fun to do. When you're dropping by Park Range, Evergreen Lodge is a great place to spend time.
