The height difference is 1,200 feet, and this ski mountain gets blanketed by 21 feet of ice cold snow per season. Ski Cooper is a skiers paradise. It has 30% black and red slopes on its 400 acres of terrain, and 70% intermediate or beginner slopes for learners. The 125 runs that cover the close by ski area Copper Mountain are lots of fun; these runs get an average of 23 feet of beautiful snow per year. enjoy yourself in the lounge. This section of Cross Creek is proposed for experienced whitewater paddlers exclusively. There's a magnificent 4-mile-from-start-to-finish type IV-V(V+) whitewater stretch on Eagle River nearby, the Redcliff to Tigiwan Rd portion. This portion
of Eagle River is suitable for kayak paddlers who have been whitewater rafting or kayaking for a while. Near The Pines Lodge is a glorious 9.2-mile-in-distance sweep of whitewater on Gore Creek, a class III-IV, this is the East Vail Exit (I-70) to Eagle River sector. Kayak paddlers
on this sweep of Gore Creek should boast some skill in whitewater kayaking or rafting. A delightful 0.25-mile-in-distance whitewater sweep on Homestake Creek is close by. This, the 1/4 mile above confluence with Eagle River section, is a grade V. This part of Homestake Creek is
delightful for those with a great deal of whitewater familiarity. You find the 7-mile-long Riverbend bus stop to Edwards section of Eagle River close by; this is a category III whitewater section. This section of Eagle River is not a spot for novices to come paddling single-handedly.
Don't forget to check conditions previous to going paddling to guarantee your safety. When the snow covers the ground the skiing here at The Pines Lodge is great, and don't forget your golf clubs at home, this is a place where you may play golf. Not enough hours in a day to enjoy
the Park Range. You might want to pay a visit to Bishop Gulch since you're here at The Pines Lodge, and right next door to The Pines Lodge you come across a golf course called Vail Golf Club. Summertime highs at The Pines Lodge ordinarily tend to be in the 80's. Throughout
the dark hours of summer temperatures descend down into the 40's. Daytime highs throughout the wintertime are in the 30's with temperatures at The Pines Lodge dipping down into the 0's during winter nights. Here at The Pines Lodge you'll possibly meet some people from Edwards.
