the Route 183 Bridge to Route 8 Bridge section of Sandy Brook River. You might get soaked whitewater rafting or kayaking this section of Sandy Brook River, so you should be prepared for that. Near Connecticut Suites is a wonderful 2-mile-long bit of whitewater on Farmington River,
a type I-II, this is the Hogback Road to Riverton segment. This bit of Farmington River is a simple bit for paddling. Always check the latest conditions before you go paddling as paddling is a treacherous pursuit.
