some time but who are not yet prepared for the exceptionally hazardous rapids. A pleasant 8-mile-in-distance whitewater run on Anacostia River - Northwest Branch is nearby. This, the US Route 29 to Hyattsville portion, is a type I-III(V+). In the event that you hold a good deal
of whitewater paddling familiarity, this run of Anacostia River - Northwest Branch could be a pleasant whitewater run for you. The 4.5-mile-long Ohio Street to Arlington Ridge Road segment is a type III segment of whitewater on Four Mile Run. The Ohio Street to Arlington Ridge
Road segment of Four Mile Run is proposed for kayak paddlers of medium skill. Unsurprisingly, whitewater kayaking and rafting is enjoyable but treacherous; check current conditions ahead of going.
