or kayaking familiarity. On Crooked River you run into the close by Albany to North Waterford section. This is a type I-II, 9-mile-from-start-to-finish part of whitewater. The proficient whitewater paddlers should almost certainly stay away from this part of Crooked River. The
Above Pool to Androscoggin portion is a pleasant 8-mile-in-distance category II-III part of whitewater on Sunday River. In the event that you have a bit of raft paddling experience, this portion of Sunday River can be a pleasant place for you. The Devils Horseshoe section has a
distance of 6.8 miles; you come across this section of whitewater on Bear. It's a type II-III section. This section of Bear is recommended for whitewater boaters of medium experience. Kayak paddling may get treacherous, so check restrictions ahead of going.
