A close by grade II-III(V) whitewater segment can be found on Middle creek; the Wolfsville to Myersville segment is 6.3 miles long. Paddlers on this segment   of Middle creek should have quite some practice in whitewater kayaking or rafting. Unsurprisingly, whitewater kayaking or rafting is fun but risky; check conditions before heading out. Pleasure and excitement is just around the corner in Thurmont.
