Whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you then we recommend Assabet River and the skiing at Blue Hills is great. If you come at the right time of year Concord River offers some great whitewater and of course, all our national parks are great places to visit and Boston Harbor Islands National Recreation Area is no exception. Going for a hike on the Freedom Trail is always a great adventure and Parker Meadow is a beautiful place any time of year.

The nice folks of Boston-Cambridge-Quincy like to hang out around here and going for a hike along the Black Heritage Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this area. An afternoon playing golf at Woburn Country Club is always a pleasure and you can hit the beach if you want, Silver Lake Town Beach is practically right here. Golf can be played at Lexington Golf Club and Bannon Hill is a great place to go up on if you want more of a bird's eye perspective on everything here around Candlewood Suites Boston, Burlington. Bradford is a great local ski area and a visit to Kinhean Park rejuvenates the soul.
Not enough hours in a day to enjoy this area. The trees of Willard Woods are a great source of shade on hot summer days.
