Intermediate or beginner slopes make up 80% of the slopes at Cranmore Mountain, and tough ones make up 20%. There is a total of 192 acres of skiable area; Cranmore Mountain is a fine location to ski. There's some attention-grabbing stuff to catch a glimpse of at Pequawket Power Company Dam close to Conway Lake Inn; Conway Lake Inn is close to White Mountain National Forest which is a beautiful |
place. Conway Lake Inn gets much water; during November this area sees the most rain, and the driest of the months is September. Why not spend some time golfing at a close by golf course like North Conway Country Club, and White Lake State Park is both wonderful and lovely.
| | All the outdoors cool stuff in the White Mountains will keep you coming back time and again. The fine folks of Conway like to hang out close by, and Mt. Washington State Park is a great site to stretch your legs a bit. A category IV(V), 5.35-mile-in-length whitewater section can be found on nearby Swift River, the Lower Falls to Darby Field sign section. If by chance you are a learner, you should most likely seek a different section of whitewater to kayak than this section of Swift River. section of whitewater on Saco River - East Branch is a heap of fun. It could be said that this section of Saco River - East Branch is a place for fun kayak paddling. There's a good category IV-V segment of whitewater nearby on Rocky Branch, the 4.2-mile-from-start-to-finish Jericho
Road and Route 302 segment. Don't go paddling on this segment of Rocky Branch unless you think your paddling skills are very perfect. A nearby class III-IV whitewater section can be found on Ellis River; the Route 16 to Jackson Golf Course section is 6 miles long. Whitewater paddlers
on this section of Ellis River should have some familiarity in whitewater rafting or kayaking. If you're trying to find a type IV-V whitewater part to kayak, you're in luck; the Pine Hill Road and Route 25 portion is a great 6-mile-in-distance piece of Lovell River. The learners
should most likely stay away from this part of Lovell River. Don't go kayak paddling before first checking the latest conditions; it's perilous business.
