On Beebe River close by you come upon the 5-mile-from-start-to-finish Sandwich Notch to Campton Hollow portion of grade II-IV whitewater. If you boast a little whitewater rafting or kayaking practice, this run of Beebe River could be a glorious run for your skill. On close by Winnipesaukee River you discover a type III-IV stretch of whitewater; the Cross Mill bridge road to Franklin segment is 1.25 miles long. This stretch of Winnipesaukee River is an enjoyable stretch for whitewater rafting or kayaking.
