class IV-V whitewater stretch close by, the Jericho Road and Route 302 portion. Taken as a whole this stretch of Rocky Branch is a tough place for whitewater rafting or kayaking. Saco River - East Branch has a grade IV bit of whitewater close by. The 2.1-mile-long Route 302 at
Lower Bartlett portion is great to kayak. This bit of Saco River - East Branch is a cool bit for whitewater boating. On nearby Wonalancet you discover a type III part of whitewater; the Route 113A to Tamworth segment is 4.25 miles long. When the conditions are right this part of
Wonalancet is an exciting part of river for kayak paddling. Ellis River has a close by whitewater segment; the Route 16 to Jackson Golf Course portion is a perfect 6-mile-in-length class III-IV segment of whitewater. On the whole this segment of Ellis River is an amusing place
