II-V+ whitewater sweep. Only those experienced in paddling should attempt to run this sweep of Batavia Kill River. A class II-IV, 7.7-mile-long whitewater part can be found on nearby West Kill River, the Albinos Pizzeria to Schoharie Creek sector. If by chance you don’t want to
risk getting wet this part of West Kill River is most likely not for you. The close by category II-III, 17-mile-long Cooksburg to Woodstock Dam section of whitewater on Catskill Creek is a heap of fun. This section of Catskill Creek is proposed for kayak paddlers of medium practice.
