Ravenel Lake to Mirror Lake sector on Cullasaja River is a close by class I-III+(V+) whitewater segment, 5 miles from start to finish. Overall this segment of Cullasaja River is a difficult place for whitewater boating. There's a great 4.75-mile-from-beginning-to-end type IV-V+

Nearby there is a fine 2-mile-from-start-to-finish class III+(V+) whitewater bit, the Off Highway 28 Into Overflow Creek sector of Clear Creek. It may be said that this bit of Clear Creek is a place for proficient whitewater boating. Cullasaja Falls segment. Only those experienced in whitewater rafting or kayaking should attempt to raft this sweep of Cullasaja River. A splendid 5-mile-in-distance whitewater part on Overflow Creek is nearby. This, the USFS Road 86B to Overflow Creek Road Bridge segment, is a
category IV-V(V+). Whitewater paddlers on this part of Overflow Creek should have quite a little skill in whitewater rafting and kayaking. Don't snub to check the situation before you go whitewater rafting and kayaking to guarantee your security.
