Park is a magnificent spot to go. At Timberline Lodge through the summertime months highs are in the 70's, and through the night it cools down to the 50's. The winter comes with highs in the 40's, and night lows at Timberline Lodge during the winter usually dip into the 30's.
3,014 feet is the difference in height of close by Hidden Lake Trail. Hidden Lake Trail is 8.2 miles of backpacking showing you some extremely beautiful places. Being a demanding backpacking and hiking trail, backpacking the Hidden Lake Trail calls for something like one and a
half days. The difference between top and bottom is 1,309 feet for a scenic 5-mile-long backpacking and hiking trail in the vicinity; we are of course talking about the Tom Dick Trail. A scenic backpacking and hiking trail it is; Tom Dick Trail takes roughly speaking four and a

a pretty wet place; all through the month of December you get the most rain around here; July on the other hand is the driest. Nearby you discover the McNeil Campground to Lolo Pass Road segment, a class IV segment of whitewater. It's a nice 4.5-mile-in-length segment on Sandy
River. The McNeil Campground to Lolo Pass Road segment of Sandy River is suited for whitewater paddlers who have been whitewater paddling for a bit but who are not yet ready for the very treacherous rapids. If you like whitewater, there is the 3 miles above West Fork to Confluence
with West Fork section, a grade IV-V whitewater bit on Hood River - Lake Branch, 3 miles in distance. This bit of Hood River - Lake Branch is well suitable for those proficient in whitewater rafting and kayaking. The Tollgate to Sandy River segment, a whitewater sweep on Zigzag
River is 3.2 miles from beginning to end. This close by sweep of whitewater is a category III-IV. For whitewater paddling this sweep of Zigzag River is an enjoyable place. Unsurprisingly, whitewater paddling is exciting but hazardous; check the latest conditions ahead of going.
