The 250 feet of height difference at close by Mount Airy Lodge is complete excitement. Mount Airy Lodge gets 5 feet of ice cold snow per year on its 6 trails that are served by its 3 ski lifts. Mount Airy Lodge is a pleasant ski hill, everyone likes it. 95% of the trails are blue and green and fitting for kids and learners. The rest of the 25 acres of skiable territory, 5%, consists of black and red trails.   Martins Creek has a tremendous 6-mile-from-beginning-to-end grade II-III whitewater section close by, the Flicksville to mouth portion. The Flicksville to mouth portion of Martins Creek is appropriate for whitewater paddlers who have been whitewater kayaking or rafting for a while but who are not yet prepared for the exceptionally perilous rapids. On Pocono Creek close by you discover the 10.6-mile-from-beginning-to-end Tannersville to Stroudsburg section of grade II-IV whitewater. For whitewater rafting or kayaking this part of Pocono Creek is an enjoyable place. Of course, whitewater rafting or kayaking is cool but treacherous; check circumstances before heading out.
