This sweep of Stony Fork Creek is advised for raft paddlers of medium experience. On Pine Creek nearby you come upon the 6-mile-in-length Ansonia to Blackwell sector of class I-II whitewater. This segment of Pine Creek is a spot where beginners should come whitewater rafting and kayaking. Tioga River has a class I-III section of whitewater nearby. The 23.5-mile-from-start-to-finish T431 to Lambs Creek Recreation Area portion is nice to kayak. This section of Tioga River is suited for whitewater boaters who have been whitewater   boating for a while but who are not yet ready for the very perilous rapids. Raft paddling may get perilous, so check circumstances ahead of going.
