It's probably okay to go whitewater rafting and kayaking on this part of Black River even if you think your whitewater rafting and kayaking capabilities aren't very nice. West River has a close by whitewater part; the Londonderry rapids sector is a great 5-mile-long class II-III part of whitewater. This sector of West River is well suited for paddlers who have been raft paddling for a while but who are not yet set for the truly     perilous rapids. On Williams River you discover the nearby Northchester to Brockway Mills sector. This is a type II, 7.5-mile-from-beginning-to-end segment of whitewater. For those inexperienced in raft paddling this segment of Williams River may be a cool place to kayak. If by chance you are going raft paddling, you have to always check conditions. Why not spend some time golfing at a close by golf course like Okemo Valley Golf Club, and you don't should go far to enjoy Ludlow Town Forest. The 119 ski slopes of Okemo are all enjoyable and are served by 19 lifts. The vertical drop is 2,210 feet, and this ski mountain obtains 17 feet of ice cold snow annually. Okemo is a good ski mountain with 601 acres of skiable area. 32% of the ski slopes are red and   black and 68% are blue and green. People from Ludlow love to come to All Seasons Motel, and a spree to Jamaica State Park revives the soul.
