is a tremendous 10-mile-from-start-to-finish piece of Joe's Brook River. It could be said that this bit of Joe's Brook River is a spot for fun whitewater rafting and kayaking. The type I-IV Victory Bog to Passumpsic River portion of Moose River is 18 miles long. Raft paddlers on
this stretch of Moose River should hold a little knowledge in raft paddling. Wells River has a great 1-mile-long type IV-V whitewater segment close by, the Old Bridge to Lower Dam sector. Only those experienced in kayak paddling should attempt to paddle this segment of Wells River.
On Wells River nearby you find the 9.5-mile-from-beginning-to-end Groton to Wells River Village segment of category I-III whitewater. This section of Wells River is not a site for learners to come whitewater kayaking and rafting unaccompanied. Always check circumstances prior to

take pleasure in at the nearby ski hill Burke Mountain. Burke Mountain boasts 21 feet of snow every year, and has 4 ski lifts serving the 43 trails.
