The drop from top to bottom is 700 feet, and this ski mountain gets 8 feet of snow per season. Twin Farms is a good ski mountain with 19 acres of skiable territory. 25% of the trails are hard and 75% are blue and green.
The East Wallingford to Clarendon section is a nice 6-mile-long grade II-III section of whitewater on Mill River. This section of Mill River is proposed for kayak paddlers of medium practice. The Rochester to Bethel section has a mileage of 20 miles; you come across this segment of whitewater on White River. It's a type I-II segment. Whitewater boaters on this segment of White River don’t need lots of know-how in whitewater boating. Don't go whitewater boating ahead of first checking restrictions; it's risky business.
