The East Wallingford to Clarendon section is a nice 6-mile-long grade II-III section of whitewater on Mill River. This section of Mill River is proposed for kayak paddlers of medium practice. The Rochester to Bethel section
has a mileage of 20 miles; you come across this segment of whitewater on White River. It's a type I-II segment. Whitewater boaters on this segment of White River don’t need lots of know-how in whitewater boating. Don't go whitewater boating ahead of first checking restrictions;
