| account for 31% of the slopes, and they are especially tremendous; novices and little ones are in luck too, 69% of the 1,000 acres of skiing land are blanketed by green and blue slopes. Having 26% of the ski runs being demanding, and 74% of the 165 acres of skiing area being intermediate or beginner; there are good ski runs for any ability at Bolton Valley. Nearby Bolton Valley is a ski area with a good 1,634-foot altitude difference. Bolton Valley has 60 ski runs and 6 great ski lifts and has 25 feet of ice cold snow annually. Branch has a close by whitewater run; the Fosters to Recreation Path parking lot portion is a great 3-mile-long grade II(IV) run of whitewater. This portion of Little River - West Branch is recommended for raft paddlers of medium know-how. On Little River you encounter the nearby
Waterbury Reservoir to Winooski River portion. This is a grade I(III), 2.5-mile-long segment of whitewater. This portion of Little River is well suited for paddlers who have been whitewater paddling for a bit but who are not yet ready for the extremely dangerous rapids. The Slide
Falls to Jeffersonville portion is a great 11.5-mile-in-distance type I-II sweep of whitewater on Lamoille River. Do be sure of maintaining yourself dry whitewater boating this sweep of Lamoille River. The Middlesex to Waterbury portion has a mileage of 5 miles; you bump into this
stretch of whitewater on Winooski River. It's a category I(II) stretch. This portion of Winooski River is suggested for beginner raft paddlers. Nearby you find the Camel's Hump Road in North Duxbury to Winooski River portion, a grade V run of whitewater. It's a brilliant 2-mile-in-distance
run on Ridley Brook. In case you hold a large amount of whitewater paddling practice, this run of Ridley Brook could be a brilliant whitewater run for you. Naturally, whitewater paddling is amusing but hazardous; check restrictions prior to departure. Relaxation is in store for you at Siebeness Inn.
