7.5-mile-from-beginning-to-end grade II whitewater section nearby, the Northchester to Brockway Mills portion. This section of Williams River is a place where novices should come whitewater paddling. On West River close by you come upon the 5-mile-long Londonderry rapids segment
of class II-III whitewater. If by chance you boast some whitewater kayaking and rafting experience, this segment of West River may be a wonderful place for you.
