| Trail. Econo Lodge Stevenson is a pretty wet place commonly with a great deal of rainfall; the month of December is the wettest with most of the rain, and July meanwhile is the driest month. Wind River has a wonderful 5-mile-in-distance grade IV-V(V+) whitewater segment close by, the High Bridge to Columbia River sector. to High Bridge portion is 6 miles long. Don't go whitewater boating on this segment of Wind River unless you feel your whitewater boating capabilities are very magnificent. On Trout Creek you discover the nearby FR 43 to Wind River portion. This is a category IV-V, 6.3-mile-in-length
