| | Ninetynine Basin is a pleasant place, and Okanogan National Forest is a good spot. So many enjoyable things in the Northern Cascade Range, just inspiring. A journey to Harts Pass is always fun, and at Mazama Ranch House you can make out Slate Peak. A lovely wilderness hiking trail close by is West Fork Methow Trail; it's 14.4 miles from beginning to end and has an altitude variation of 1,890 feet. A difficult wilderness hiking trail it is; West Fork Methow Trail necessitates roughly speaking two days to backcountry trek. If you want a little side |
spree, try Slate Pass. Mazama Ranch House gets a lot of water; most of the rain falls during November while July is the month with the least amount of precipitation.
