Jackson Hole close by is a brilliant ski hill in possession of a splendid 4,139-foot vertical drop served by 11 different ski lifts; it has 96 trails and gets blanketed by 34 feet of fluffy snow every winter. Grand Targhee has 5 lifts and gets on average 42 feet of beautiful snow yearly. 80% of the trails at Grand Targhee are blue and green. Of the 2,000 acres of skiable terrain 20% is hard; there's something for everybody at Grand Targhee. At Hostel you don’t see much rainfall; the month of May is the wettest with most of the rain, and the driest month is August. Rock Springs Canyon is a glorious site to spend some time at, and during your trip here you'll meet some folks from Jackson for sure.
