This segment of Duwamish River is fitting for whitewater boaters who haven't been whitewater rafting or kayaking for very long. There's a good grade I-II bit of whitewater close by on Puyallup River, the 6.1-mile-in-distance McMillin to Puyallup section. This bit of Puyallup River is advised for novice whitewater paddlers. Naturally, whitewater kayaking and rafting is amusing but risky; check current conditions in advance     of a trip. Golf can be played at Tyee Golf Course, and Hilton is a spot with many visitors from Seattle-Tacoma-Bellevue.
