6.5 miles in distance. This segment of Spokane River is advised for paddlers of medium practice. There's a splendid 10-mile-in-distance category II-III+(IV) whitewater section on Hangman Creek close by, the Upper section. This section of Hangman Creek is appropriate for kayak paddlers
who have been whitewater boating for a while but who are not yet prepared for the truly dangerous rapids. Don't go whitewater boating in advance of first checking the situation; it's dangerous matter. A golf course right next door to Spokane Downtown Travelodge is Indian Canyon
