for young ones and novices. The rest of the 2,300 acres of skiable land, 35%, consists of tough trails. The 2,000-foot drop from top to bottom at nearby ski hill Kirkwood is great; it has 65 trails covered by 42 feet of ice cold snow per season, served by 15 ski lifts. 35% of the
1,260 acres of skiable land at Homewood consist of advanced and expert ski runs. But there are wonderful ski runs for kids and beginners as well; 65% of the ski runs are easy. Homewood, the nearby ski mountain has an altitude difference of 1,650 feet; this ski mountain has 8 lifts,
and 29 feet of white snow per year covering its 56 ski runs. There are plenty of folks from Gardnerville Ranchos here at Lake Tahoe, and nearby you come across Lake Valley which is a nice site to stop by.
