After a long day after the brilliant Colorado sun has stopped dazzling and the owls are hooting at Hotel Aspen the moment has arrived to call it a day and nod off. The nearby grade IV+, 2-mile-from-beginning-to-end Aspen Music School to Slaughterhouse Bridge segment of whitewater on Roaring Fork is heaps of fun. |
There's a great grade IV-V section of whitewater close by on Roaring Fork, the 4.5-mile-long Aspen to Upper Woody Creek Bridge portion. It may be said that this section of Roaring Fork is a place for proficient whitewater rafting or kayaking. In case you're trying to find a grade
V+ whitewater sweep to kayak, you're in luck; the Weller Lake to Difficult Campground section is a fine 3.2-mile-in-length piece of Roaring Fork. Only those experienced in whitewater rafting or kayaking should try to kayak this sweep of Roaring Fork. The class III Upper Woody Creek
Bridge to Lower Woody Creek Bridge segment of Roaring Fork is 3.8 miles long. If you possess a little bit of whitewater kayaking or rafting familiarity, this sweep of Roaring Fork could be a great sweep for your ability. Roaring Fork has a splendid 6.2-mile-long grade III whitewater
segment nearby, the Lower Woody Creek Bridge to Route 82 Bridge segment. When the conditions are right this segment of Roaring Fork is an enjoyable segment of river for kayak paddling. Don't go kayak paddling before first checking current conditions; it's dangerous business.
The valuable business center is here to keep you in the best position where you belong, and swimming pools are always wonderful and there's one here, so you can go for a swim. There's TV with cable, and by your bed is an AM FM clock radio, so you won't oversleep.
