The nearby grade I-III, 7-mile-long Creek Road to I-15 portion of whitewater on Little Cottonwood Creek is loads of fun. When the conditions are right this part of Little Cottonwood Creek is a fun part of river for whitewater paddling. There's a tremendous category I-IV segment
of whitewater close by on Big Cottonwood Creek, the 8.5-mile-from-start-to-finish Old Mill to 3900 South segment. On the whole this segment of Big Cottonwood Creek is an exciting place for raft paddling. A nearby type I-II whitewater run is to be found on Jordan River; the Utah
Lake to Rose Park segment is 51 miles long. This segment of Jordan River is well suited for paddlers who haven't been paddling for so long. You should check restrictions before heading out; paddling could get dangerous. Skiers from all over like Snowbird. 35% of the trails at Snowbird
are demanding, and 65% are beginner and intermediate; there is a total of 2,500 acres of skiable terrain. There are 13 different ski lifts at Snowbird, a ski mountain having a glorious 3,240-foot vertical drop and 85 trails. Snowbird obtains an average of 42 feet of white snow
per year.
Cable TV is unsurprisingly offered; keeping yourself sufficiently caffeinated at Homewood Suites is easy with the coffee brewer in your room. Near Homewood Suites you come across a golf course called Forest Dale Golf Course, and while you're here you will meet lots of folks from nearby North Salt Lake.
