Shawnee Peak, the close by   ski mountain has a drop from top to bottom of 1,300 feet; this ski mountain has 5 ski lifts, and 8 feet of wonderful snow per season covering its 40 trails. Blue and green trails make up 70% of the trails at Shawnee Peak, and difficult ones make up 35%. There is a total of 239 acres of skiing area; Shawnee Peak is a perfect place to ski. On Sunday River close by you encounter the 8-mile-long Above Pool to Androscoggin sector of category II-III whitewater. This sector of Sunday River is brilliant for those with a bit of kayak paddling familiarity. Crooked River has a class I-II bit of whitewater nearby. The 9-mile-long Albany to North Waterford sector is delightful to raft. The Albany to North Waterford sector of Crooked River is advised for learner whitewater paddlers. On close by Bear you come upon a type II-III run of whitewater; the Devils Horseshoe portion is 6.8 miles long. If you boast a little bit of whitewater kayaking or rafting familiarity, this portion of Bear can be a perfect place for you. Crooked River has a nearby whitewater segment; the North Waterford to East Waterford segment is a good 12-mile-long category II-III segment of whitewater. This segment of Crooked River is advised for whitewater boaters of medium know-how. On Little Androscoggin River you bump into the close by Bryant Pond to Tubbs School sector. This is a grade IV, 4-mile-from-start-to-finish bit of whitewater. This bit of Little Androscoggin River is well suited for kayak paddlers who have been kayak paddling for a while but who are not yet set for the incredibly treacherous rapids. Whitewater paddling may get treacherous, so check circumstances before heading out. There's a perfect business center, so you can keep your business running.
