| | There's a great 30-mile-from-beginning-to-end type I-II whitewater part on Harrod's Creek nearby, the Kentucky 53 to Ohio River sector. This part of Harrod's Creek is a great place for novices in raft paddling. Nearby there is a brilliant 1-mile-long class II(IV) whitewater section, the Upper Falls of Ohio section of Ohio River. The Upper Falls of Ohio section of Ohio River is proposed for paddlers of medium knowledge. Near Homewood Suites is a tremendous 0-mile-in-distance bit of whitewater on Ohio River, a class I(II), this is the Lower Falls of Ohio segment. |

This bit of Ohio River is a place where beginners should come whitewater rafting and kayaking. A great 8.9-mile-long whitewater bit on Plum Creek is close by. This, the Wilsonville to Salt River section, is a grade II(III). The Wilsonville to Salt River section of Plum Creek is
| well suited for whitewater paddlers who have been whitewater rafting and kayaking for some time but who are not yet set for the exceptionally perilous rapids. Of course, whitewater rafting and kayaking is cool but perilous; check circumstances before heading out. Homewood Suites is conveniently situated in Louisville, Kentucky, where there is always something cool to do. A round of golf at nearby Indian Springs Golf Club is a perfect way to kill some time; there are plenty of folks from Prospect here at Homewood Suites.
