the Indian Head to East Branch confluence portion. It could be said that this bit of Pemigewasset River is a site for fun whitewater kayaking or rafting. Nearby there is a fine 2.9-mile-long type V whitewater segment, the Profile Lake through Franconia Notch segment of Pemigewasset
River. Only those expert in paddling should endeavor to kayak this segment of Pemigewasset River. You have to check the situation before heading out; paddling could become perilous.
