Overall this run of Pike River - North Branch is a fun place for whitewater kayaking or rafting. The category II-III Brule River Dam to Ryneers Road section of Brule River is 3.4 miles long. This section of Brule River is a mid difficulty stretch for kayak paddling. Always check restrictions before you go kayak paddling in view of the fact that kayak paddling is a perilous pursuit.
