Jordan River State Park is a delightful site any time of year; you'll meet a lot of people from North Salt Lake here. Snowbird
has 2,500 acres of skiing area; 35% of the trails are challenging while 65% are easy. Snowbird has fine trails to suit any ability. The nearby ski area Snowbird gets 42 feet of snow per season. Snowbird has 13 lifts that serve its 85 trails; the drop is 3,240 feet. Nearby Alta
is a ski mountain boasting a nice 2,020-foot height difference. Alta has 54 runs and 12 ski lifts and receives 42 feet of good snow annually. Alta has 2,200 acres to ski on; 65% of the runs are blue and green which is nice for beginners; 35% of the runs are difficult.
