Vermont Gorge to Colrain portion has a span of 7 miles; you run into this run of whitewater on North River. It's a type II run. For those inexperienced in raft paddling this run of North River may be an enjoyable spot to paddle. Nearby you locate the West Leyden to covered bridge
section, a type II-III sweep of whitewater. It's a great 5.6-mile-in-length sweep on Green River. When the conditions are right this sweep of Green River is an enjoyable sweep of river for whitewater boating. Don't overlook to check restrictions before heading out whitewater boating
