There's a great grade I-IV part of whitewater close by on Shohola Creek, the 9.5-mile-long Shohola Falls Park to Mouth sector. For raft paddling this part of Shohola Creek is an exciting place. A nearby type I-III whitewater part is to be found on Wallenpaupack Creek; the Mountainview Road to Ledgedale Road sector is 9.8 miles long. If by chance you hold a little bit of whitewater kayaking or rafting knowledge, this part of Wallenpaupack Creek could be a glorious part for your ability. Unsurprisingly, whitewater kayaking or rafting is amusing but hazardous; check the situation in advance of a trip.
