The rest of the 10 acres of ski terrain, 5%, consists of expert and advanced slopes. Diamond Peak is loved by skiers; it has 64% intermediate or beginner trails and 36% expert and advanced trails. A total of 655 acres of skiable terrain in all. 33 feet of good snow fall every season on the 1,840-foot vertical drop of Diamond Peak, the close by ski hill. Diamond Peak has 30 trails and 6 ski lifts. 35% of the 1,260 acres of ski terrain at Homewood consist of demanding ski runs. But there are great ski runs for kids and beginners as well; 65% of the ski runs are blue and green. 29 feet of annual snow blankets the close by ski hill Homewood with its 1,650 feet of vertical drop. 8 great ski lifts serve the 56 ski runs at Homewood. Time spent at Patton Beach near Cedar Glen Lodge is always fine, and there are plenty of folks from Tahoe Vista here at Cedar Glen Lodge.
