Kill River nearby, the Swinging Bridge to Route 23-A bridge segment. For proficient raft paddlers this run of Batavia Kill River is a cool place to raft. Nearby there is a fine 7.7-mile-in-distance category II-IV whitewater section, the Albinos Pizzeria to Schoharie Creek portion
of West Kill River. It could be said that this section of West Kill River is a place for fun whitewater rafting and kayaking. Near Winwood Inn is a tremendous 17-mile-from-beginning-to-end segment of whitewater on Catskill Creek, a grade II-III, this is the Cooksburg to Woodstock
Dam segment. Whitewater boaters on this segment of Catskill Creek should hold a bit of skill in whitewater rafting or kayaking. A wonderful 3.5-mile-long whitewater sweep on Ten Mile Creek is nearby. This, the Route 351 Bridge Medusa to Deans portion, is a class II-III. This sweep
