for kayak paddlers who have been whitewater rafting or kayaking for a period of time but who are not yet ready for the very hazardous rapids. Back Creek - Potomac Tributary has a category II-III part of whitewater close by. The 6-mile-long Route 704 bridge to Route 50 sector is
good to raft. The Route 704 bridge to Route 50 sector of Back Creek - Potomac Tributary is proposed for raft paddlers of medium knowledge. On nearby Passage Creek you find a class II-III section of whitewater; the Elizabeth Furnance to Waterlick portion is 6 miles long. The Elizabeth
Furnance to Waterlick portion of Passage Creek is fitting for kayak paddlers who have been raft paddling for a bit but who are not yet ready for the especially risky rapids. Don't go raft paddling ahead of first checking restrictions; it's risky stuff.
