nearby ski area Mt. Rose are lots of fun; these runs get an average of 33 feet of white snow yearly. Mt. Rose has a great 1,440-foot elevation difference, and has 6 lifts. There is a total of 85 slopes at close by Heavenly; this ski hill has 30 feet of fluffy snow per season. There
are 31 different ski lifts at Heavenly, and the vertical drop is 3,500 feet. 65% of the 4,800 acres of skiing area at Heavenly is green and blue, wonderful for children and learners. 35% of the slopes on the other hand are difficult and wonderful for expert skiers. An afternoon playing golf at Empire Ranch Golf Course is always a delight.
