Bromley has 10 lifts that serve its 45 ski runs; the vertical drop is 1,334 feet. Easy ski runs make up 70% of the ski runs at Bromley, and difficult ones make up 30%. There is a total of 300 acres of skiing area; Bromley is a good site to ski. There are a lot of trails at Stratton that are blue and green, 73% of them while 27% are demanding. Stratton is a magnificent ski area with 583 acres of skiing area. Nearby Stratton is a ski area boasting a magnificent 2,003-foot vertical drop. Stratton has 90 trails and 16 lifts and gets covered by 15 feet of snow annually. The   771 acres of skiing territory at Mount Snow is prized by skiers from far and near. Mount Snow has 29% red and black slopes and 71% easy slopes. Mount Snow nearby is a good ski area featuring a tremendous 1,700-foot height difference served by 23 good ski lifts; it has 145 slopes and gets covered by 14 feet of great snow per season. Shaftsbury State Park is a delightful spot to stretch your legs a bit, and why not spend some time golfing at a close by golf course like Equinox Country Club. There's always a person at the front counter night and day, which is exceptionally glorious, and there's a strong steel safe, so you can keep your important things super safe. The Equinox frequently gets much precipitation; the month of August is the wettest with most of the rain; February is the month with the least moisture. Nearby there is a wonderful 3.5-mile-in-distance class V whitewater sweep, the Kelly Stand Road to East Kansas segment of Roaring Branch. Only those skilled in whitewater kayaking or rafting should venture to kayak this sweep of Roaring Branch. Near The Equinox is a wonderful 2.6-mile-from-beginning-to-end sweep of whitewater on Big Branch, a type V, this is the Mt. Tabor to Appalachian Trail sector. Whitewater boaters on this sweep of Big Branch should boast quite a little bit of know-how in whitewater boating.
