Check the situation in advance of a trip on the whitewater, otherwise it's not secure. The 10 runs at Scaly Mountain are all splendid; the drop is 225 feet at this ski area. Scaly Mountain receives 6 feet of great snow yearly and has 4 lifts to carry all the skiers up the mountain. Scaly Mountain has 12 acres to ski on; 90% of the runs are blue and green which is   magnificent for learners; 10% of the runs are hard. The 5 slopes of Sky Valley are all enjoyable and are served by 2 ski lifts. The drop from top to bottom is 210 feet, and this ski area boasts 2 feet of ice cold snow annually. 16 acres of skiable terrain is available at Sky Valley; intermediate or beginner slopes account for 67% while black and red slopes make up 33% of the slopes. There are pleasant slopes for everybody at Sky Valley. The Inn At Half Mile Farm is located in the Blue Ridge Mountains. The scenery at Mirror Lake Dam next to The Inn At Half Mile Farm is lovely, and you're sure to encounter some wonderful folks from Highlands here.
