The Numbers Launch to Railroad Bridge Launch section has a length of 5 miles; you run into this stretch of whitewater on Arkansas River. It's a grade IV stretch. This section of Arkansas River is a mid difficulty stretch for paddling. Nearby you encounter the Granite to Numbers Launch Site section, a class IV-V segment of whitewater. paddling. Don't go whitewater paddling prior to first checking current conditions; it's treacherous business. A delightful site near Ten Mile Haus is McKenzie Gulch, and a spree to Arapaho National Forest revitalizes the spirit. Everybody loves Wheeler Flats; there are plenty

There are 2,433 acres of skiable area at Copper Mountain, 54% of the trails are advanced and expert; those are the ones the expert skiers enjoy the most. 46% of the trails at Copper Mountain are green and blue and well suited for children and beginners. The 2,601 feet of drop at close by Copper Mountain is pure excitement. Copper Mountain boasts 23 feet of snow per season on its 125 trails that are served by its 23 great ski lifts.
